2. Subject of the Agreement

2.1. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the licensing, purchase, and use of SchoolSlots Pro (a dedicated WordPress plugin for educational institutions, hereinafter: the “Software”), developed and distributed by the Provider.
2.2. By purchasing a license or downloading and using the Software, the Customer (school, educational institution, district, or authorized representative) agrees to be legally bound by these Terms.

3. Licensing Terms & Validity

3.1. License Duration: A SchoolSlots Pro software license is granted for a fixed period of 1 (one) full year (365 days from the date of purchase).
3.2. License Tiers:

• Single School License: Grants installation, automatic updates, and technical support for 1 (one) active educational institution / 1 domain.
• Multi-Campus License (5 Sites): Grants installation, automatic updates, and support for up to 5 (five) institutions / domains.
• School District License (10 Sites): Grants installation, automatic updates, and support for up to 10 (ten) institutions / domains.
  3.3. Annual Renewal: The license automatically grants access to software updates and priority technical support during the active 365-day term. After 365 days, the license must be renewed to continue receiving security patches, feature upgrades, and support.

4. Payments, Billing & Invoicing (Freemius Integration)

4.1. International orders and checkout processing are securely handled by our merchant of record and licensing partner, Freemius Inc.
4.2. All international prices are stated in USD. Local sales taxes or VAT may be calculated and applied automatically at checkout based on your country and institutional tax-exempt status.
4.3. Upon successful payment, an official downloadable electronic invoice and your license key are delivered instantly via email.

5. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee (Refund Policy)

5.1. We offer a no-risk, 14-day 100% money-back guarantee.
5.2. If SchoolSlots Pro does not meet your school’s scheduling requirements or technical expectations, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of your initial purchase by contacting support@schoolslots.com or submitting a refund request via the Freemius customer portal.

6. Technical Requirements & Compatibility

6.1. SchoolSlots Pro is engineered to run on standard WordPress installations running WordPress 5.8 or higher and PHP 7.4 or higher.
6.2. Please note that mobile camera QR check-in features require a valid HTTPS SSL certificate on your school’s domain, as modern mobile web browsers restrict camera access over unencrypted HTTP connections.

7. Intellectual Property & Code Rights

The Software code, architecture, and documentation remain the exclusive intellectual property of Juhász Péter E.V. The Software is licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL) v2 or later, with commercial support and automated distribution services provided by the Licensor.
